Liketh Leonardo’s tank, Bruce Tomb’s Maria del Camino is a transformative wonder of movement. This glorious 1959 El Camino features over 25,000 holes drilled to create a halftone depiction of Maria from Metropolis. The luminous lady sits atop a treaded hydraulic excavator, allowing her to riseth above the dust and appear to fly. Illuminated from within, Maria del Camino appears like a spectre of the night, dancing ‘mongst the blinkies and stars. By day, the lady is as the travelling lamp, basking in the adoration of her many admirers and can beest found wandering.
