Liminal Labs love virgins. No, seriously. In 2012, our camp theme was Liminal Labs\u2019 Virgin Initiation Program (VIP) and every year we\u2019ve devoted a significant portion of our offerings to schooling up the newbies without dampening their ardor (only their shorts).\u00a0 <\/span>No matter what our sub-theme each year, we use our robust Virgin Profiling Assessment (VPA) algorithms to identify, lure, and school first-timers. We query them about how they\u2019re faring and test their understanding of the 10 Principles. <\/span><\/p>\n

For those in need of basic training (or old-timers with short memories), we guide them through MOOP\u00a0vigilance, advanced hydration tactics (we\u2019re always happy to fill anyone\u2019s water bottle), map reading, sun and dust strategies, proper gifting protocols, opportunities for volunteering, and other playa-friendly facts and activities. Graduates are sent out into the world to school others and to send us any recalcitrants for \u201cspecial training.\u201d We particularly appreciate it when one of our virgins returns to share their wide-eyed tales of \u201cfirst year on the playa\u201d hi jinx. <\/span><\/p>\n

This year PHARMAKON<\/a> will provide special VIP (temporary) tattoos for every earnest freshman who\u2019s done their homework, guaranteeing them all access to every spectacular burn and as many dance parties as their boots can carry them to.<\/span><\/p>\n
