Nightly we present TRANSITION TRANSMISSION CINEMA<\/strong><\/em>, providing a host of themed mirrored movie magic Sunday through Friday nights, always leading off with a family friendly (but still weird as heck) feature. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

TRANSITION <\/em><\/strong>TRANSMISSION CINEMA<\/strong><\/em> provides a space to morph your experience with virtual reality under the desert stars. Each evening our mirrored projection system<\/strong> will present Metamorphosis-themed twinned tales<\/strong> of transformation across our giant 50-foot screen. <\/strong>We begin every night with a family-friendly feature (burner kids are some of our best customers!) <\/strong>and each of our four nightly films is preceded by a curiously curated set<\/strong> of thematic short films and animations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to TRANSITION <\/em><\/strong>TRANSMISSION CINEMA<\/strong><\/em>\u2019s inclusion in the Burning Man What Where When,<\/em> our illuminated whiteboard<\/strong> will announce the evening\u2019s offerings and our lit marquee<\/strong> will guide the way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As always, Red Vines<\/a> will be provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s offerings<\/strong> include The Guyer, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Lure, The Calamari Wrestler, Under the Skin, Donkey Skin, The Long Kiss Goodnight, The Little Mermaid, The Lobster, Ladyhawke, Phantom of the Paradise, Defending Your Life, Now Voyager, Auntie Mame, My Fair Lady, I Am Dragon, Tommy, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde, Being John Malkovich, The Witches, Splice  <\/em>\u2013 just to name a few. SPECIAL EVENT:\u00a0 THURSDAY,\u00a0TRANSITION <\/em><\/strong>TRANSMISSION CINEMA\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>will host\u00a0TVC15: Bowie All Night\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>\u2013 with Labyrinth<\/em>, The Man Who Fell to Earth<\/em>, and 3+ hours of rare Bowie videos as a tribute to the most prolific shapeshifter of modern times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The idea that the piece of work is not finished until the audience comes to it and adds their own interpretation, and what the piece of art is about is the grey space in the middle.
